Why we're the perfect fit for Seagate
Our partnership with Seagate goes back many years to when we were one of the 1st distributors of Seagate devices in the UK. Supplying disks into VAR’s, OEM’s and alike into various vertical markets.
Seagate then released their Exos storage platforms to the market, meaning Exertis were in an enviable place as we have over a decade of experience with their storage platforms and a quarter of a century on disks.
Our preferred approach is to consult, design, build, sell and ship Seagate solutions at Exertis and none of this would be possible without our storage experts and rock-solid partnership with Seagate. Our team regularly engage with customers and end users alike, sharing and explaining information on where Seagate have come from, what the system looks like, providing online demos, evaluation kit and help closing business. This, in conjunction with support from Seagate, gives peace of mind on all their products whether it’s for DC’s, MSP’s, VAR’s or all manner of our customers.
Seagate provide comprehensive support on all hardware and software for 1, 3 & 5 years with options on onsite engineers, self-service, dark site support and white glove support. As we build Seagate in-house, we can also offer detailed customisation via firmware flashing on FRU’s, Hardware and Software design consultancy and all manner of integration options.
Seagate Solutions
Data Storage systems
Discover the new Seagate Exos X and Exos E Indium platform which is a perfect fit across multiple vertical markets in providing SAN storage with consistent performance and reliability. Utilising cutting edge features that are exclusive to Seagate, allows us to supply the right solution. Exertis has multiple success stories with the Seagate SAN in Surveillance, M&E and virtualisation to name a few.
CORVAULT
A Self-healing and self-managed storage platform that guarantees enhanced reliability and consistent performance. Especially successful in the HPC/AI market, the Corvault can complement multiple vendors by offering 106 x disks, accessed via 12GB SAS and the ability to correct errors in a live environment and reduce e-waste.
Expansion Shelves & JBOD
Exos E range allows consumers to scale up existing Exos X deployments, up to 336 disks. The Exos E can also be a standalone JBOD that would be connected to a RAID card or HBA supplied by Exertis for a simple storage target. Software designed solutions are also benefitting from this platform as it offers great throughput and reliability.
All Flash, Hybrid, & Disk Arrays
The Exos X can be configured as all disk, all flash or a hybrid approach for mixed workloads. By configuring the disks and adding best-in-breed software features like tiering, snapshots, replication as well as features unique to Seagate like erasure coding and autonomous disk healing. Seagate Exos X platforms are multifaceted and fit into almost every environment.
Compute and Storage Convergence Platforms
The Seagate AP (Application Platform) is relatively new but takes advantage of the same chassis the Exos X & E use but by replacing the SAN/JBOD controllers, with compute nodes, Seagate can now drive real interest in the SDS world. They have gone to great lengths to qualify various ISV’s that lend themselves to block, file & object in the backup, hyperscale, virtualisation and other markets.
